DSTF Reboot 3.0

As we are all aware, the nature of Star Trek Online has changed drastically over the past few months.  An increased emphasis on grinding for marks and dilithium and completing various projects, along with the rewards that go with upgrading our starbase and embassy, means that we cannot continue along with the same organizational model that we have been using.

I think most of us agree that it is more fun when the fleet is full and vibrant, and that many hands make light work of the starbase construction projects.  To that end, I would like to expand the fleet; however I know that those of us who have contributed greatly to this fleet’s success would be rightfully concerned about an influx of hangers-on getting to reap the benefits of our hard work.

We will be making a push for increased recruitment, at the same time restructuring the fleet organizational chart, scaling back access for lower ranks and drastically increasing the contribution requirements for provisioning access.

What this means is that all current members will have their ranks adjusted to the appropriate new levels.  Current Admirals will also be moved to the appropriate level, with all energetic members of Sergeant or higher encouraged to volunteer for the positions.  To see the new organizational chart, follow the link here.

Access to fleet stores provisioning will still be relatively easy to attain, however some of you who currently have access will have to make further contributions to reaquire fleet stores privileges.

We also have more exciting fleet events planned in the upcoming weeks to help intigrate new members and to increase the fun value of belonging in this fleet.

And some more good news, Costa is back and will be helping with our fleet events and recruitment iniatives!  Welcome back, Costa!
